Netherlands based artist David “Mr. June” Louf was commissioned to create this large mural on the 124-foot-wide dome of the of the Mitchell Water Treatment Plant. The city’s Water Resources Department wanted a powerful way to convey the importance of water stewardship while adding a new public art piece to Greensboro’s Midtown. Louf used spray paint cans to create this mural over the course of 2 weeks in June 2018.
