Description: ColorHaus was created by Miami-based Primary Flight. It was a colorful mural painted on 7 large scale bridge support structures that frame the Morehead Park trailhead parking area. The geometric design was inspired by the philosophy of Walter Gropius whose first commission in the United States after immigrating here was in Greensboro. Further inspiration was from the Razzle Dazzle camouflauge used in World War One and Two. In 2020, local artist Darlene McClinton and her creative team were commissioned to re-design the bridge supports at Morehead Park since extensive bridge repairs destroyed the original design by Primary Flight. The new design is called Bridging the Gap.
