Ogden Deal (1932-1985) was known for both sculpture and graphic art. His works have been exhibited in Charlotte’s Mint Museum, the Winston-Salem Art Gallery, and in several colleges and universities. His work is currently on permanent display at the Greensboro Historical Museum, as well as the North Carolina A&T State University. He created this piece out of metal and concrete in 1972 and it was installed in 2010.
