A metal bust of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. created by Wilbur Lee Map stands on a stone base featuring plaques on both the front and back. Martin Luther King Jr., who appears to gaze into the distance, is depicted as he looked the day of his death. The bust long stood on the corner of South Elm Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. However, it was restored and was installed in the Fall of 2022 in a new location at the North-East corner of Bragg St and MLK Drive.
