Tile Mural
Under the direction of Leslie Scott, 250 students from three neighboring schools made textured ceramic pieces, built multi-layered forms, and grouted the final mosaics of this 24-panel multi-dimensional mural. Photos taken by Bert Vanderveen and Action Greensboro.

The McNairy House
Susan Harrell is a self-trained contemporary oil painter who began her work full-time in 2009. She lives in her hometown of Asheboro, among the foothills of central North Carolina, where she operates a studio gallery showcasing her work. Photos taken by Bert Vanderveen.
